Carpal tunnel syndrome is a painful condition that affects the wrist, hand and fingers from compression of the median nerve which enters the hand through the wrist at a part called the carpal tunnel. Victims who suffer from this condition generally experience pain in the hands and wrist, numbness and/or pins and needles sensations in the hand/fingers, as well as hand weakness.
