NSI

What is NSI?

NeuroSensorimotor Integrator (NSI) Therapy

An advanced, interactive rehabilitation system using a large touchscreen to train sensorimotor integration — improving how the brain processes sensory input and coordinates motor/cognitive responses.

The NSI targets disruptions in visual, vestibular, balance, and motor systems common after concussion, TBI, or neurological challenges. Patients engage in dynamic, customizable tasks on an interactive display to retrain neural pathways for enhanced function.

Key skills trained include:

NSI therapy is used in two main phases:

  1. Initial Assessment & Training — Evaluates baseline performance and identifies sensorimotor deficits through guided tasks.
  2. Progressive Rehabilitation — Customized sessions build skills, track objective progress, and adapt as function improves.

Sessions are 20–45 minutes, non-invasive, engaging (game-like), and suitable for all ages. Data is recorded for measurable tracking. It serves as a key therapeutic tool in comprehensive care, combined with clinical judgment and other assessments.

Benefits of NeuroSensorimotor Integrator Therapy

The NSI is trusted in functional neurology, concussion clinics, sports rehab, and multidisciplinary practices for targeted sensorimotor and neuro-cognitive training.

If you're recovering from concussion, dealing with coordination challenges, or seeking performance gains, discuss NSI therapy with one of our providers today.
